Teo. Banyak org with full HB setup.
It is proven to be effective. Go get it done before they run out of steel to make pipes.

So they say the HB exhaust system is very effective. Anyone got it on a dyno? I am keen to know how much the car benefits from it. Also, its the same package from Speedworks website right? Extractor, Mid and Rear sections. Thanks!

For my lancer GT, the HB exhaust system was dynoed with gains of 11.2bhp and 10.4Nm. Gain was visible throughout the rev band from 2500 to redline.

A worthwhile mod

SK ... hmmmmm ... nice to hear that ... the whole package is as what is stated at the Speedworks website right? Did you get the air filter changed too? Smile

Hello 2Fast2Slow.

The dyno results as quoted in my earlier message were done when my lancer GT had a K&N drop-in filter.

Now I have installed a open-pod with heat shield. The system is noisy.

If you do a lot of driving in the city (ie traffic jam, start-stop situations), I recommend that you just use the drop-in filter.

Okay ... noted ... will bear that in mind, might drop by Speedworks later today or tomorrow and chat with them. I was chatting with DK tuning and was pretty keen on their solution IF it lives up to what they say because they will remap the MIVIC and also the CVT too. Maybe forget all that and go out and buy a Golf GTi or Civic Type R la ... easier.

To the guys who are using hotbits extractor or full setup.

Is there any way to get rid of the hissing/metallic sound from the extractor?

Would changing the bullets/resonators help reduce the sound?
