Mazda Rx-8 R3/RS 6spd Manual

A friend of mine recently bought the only Mazda Rx-8 R3 in Malaysia. He knew that i have recently chipped my car so he wanted to test how "lousy" is my lancer la.

In our usual drag strip in Glenmarie bout 1230am this morning we had 3 drag races. The temp was around 26'C. Dry road.

1st round handicapped start 3-4 car in front then manage to keep the distance. (may be he didn't shift well

2nd round i told him we side by side then kena tapau like nobody's business ~4-5 cars distance.

3rd round 1 started first then he chased kena tapau after his 2nd gear.

He has wheel spin 1-2 and 2-3 shift despite on 19' wheels. Powerlah

RX-8 is powerfull.. even though its 1.3cc only. its on rotary engine.

heard the automatic version is far slower

but manual Rx-8 is comparable with a fiat coupe i reckon

Fastest car I ever drove was a Ferrari 308. That one long time ago, I think >15 years ago. The kick was awesome, the engine sound was awesome (still can remember, cannot forget ). The driving experience was priceless. Dunno if can find one nowadays.

Have since driven many fast cars. gargamel's EvoX (ok, not exactly super car league but fast la), Supra, Fairlady, GT1 (one of my ex-boss' old car, he sold jor, he bought a yellow GT2)... all cannot compare to my experience driving "The Magnum PI Ferrari" 308.

Fark... need to find way to make TONS of money ler...

Rev, u tried so many supercars.. thats good.. i tried wiralution (evo 3 & gsr 1.8 ) only..

Elan, I lucky coz I had an uncle in SG that is a mechanic that only services high end cars. The 308, Supra and Fairlady was when he allowed me to drive them.
