Hi nofear1979.

I had installed a LCP to my GT. However, it caused the belt to rotate in a non-balanced manner and making loud swishing sound. Even when changed to another LC, the same swishing sound can be heard.

Other members did install similar make of LCP and did not experience such bad experience.

So, it is up to your luck.

oh i see... very bad o.. if very noisy... i installed before to my ex-waja.. pickup/rev very fast... so would like to try on LGT.

but to do this.. i am sure it will void my warranty already right?

i'm with alutec LCP for more than a year already.. so far no prob.

This mod is more like a plug-and-play. Try out a LCP of your choice and see how you like it (or more like whether your Lancer likes it or not !). Your butt will tell you that the initial pickup is better. If there is no problem, then it is OK. If there is a problem, you can remove it and your service centre will not know (hopefully)

important things is, dun throw away stock Crank pulley.. hahahaha

try alutec.. its taiwan made. im also not having any prob with it for more than a year ady.
this mod sure will void ur warranty.

When I first installed the Mythelogy LCP, it felt really good... the pickup was slightly better and throttle response also seem less laggy. Another advantage of LCPs (in general) is that it reduces the load on the alternator, altho' I have no idea how this is translated into real world experiences.

However, the thing is that after I had removed (=sold) my LCP, I didn't miss it at all... go figure... I dunno... ...

rev moved his lcp without miss it coz his ecu driven by unichipQ+

Actually I removed quite a few items from my Lancer already coz I had been anticipating selling the Lancer... but until now my plans is kinda put on hold...

Oh and GG, when I bought my Unichip, only got version Q la, don't have Q+ yet la waaay back then

bro rev, unichip Q can be upgraded to Q+
its only the software inside it. Q+ got extra parameter controls for turbo cars.. for N.A. cars like us, no difference within version Q and Q+.

there are many brands outside there.. go for alutec or gdl.

alutec in sg is around sgd250 now, GDL RM400+..
